Refreshments & Potlucks:  A quick reminder to everyone who brings food for our Church potlucks, or is a Refreshment Coordinator. In today’s world, there are many people who suffer from a variety of allergies, some of which can be serious of life threatening. We’ve been incredibly blessed in the past that no one has reacted badly to food mixtures, however just to be doubly safe we are asking that foods be labelled. Please remember to indicate if a dish contains meat, nuts, or whether it is Gluten or Dairy free. Let’s make sure everyone can safely enjoy the food and fellowship.

Adult Sabbath School Lesson:  How many people love the Sabbath School Lesson discussion time? We’re very blessed to have a talented group of leaders who each week bring us an insightful, thought provoking lesson study; with a good dose of discussion as well! Anyone who has been part of the class knows just how lucky we are here at Living Hope.  These teachers are doing a great job creating lessons that engage us, while also making sure the Divine Service starts on time. They do this not because they want to cut short conversation and debate, or stop anyone from participating, but rather to ensure our Divine Service starts on time and our Pastor/Guest Speaker doesn’t feel pressured to shorten the message God has given them.  We can help accomplish this mission by being willing participants in the Sabbath School Lesson discussion, while also respecting the time constraints our teachers work under. Together, we can ensure that we create a church environment where everyone is comfortable, and open to God’s leading.
